Wenger Meetinghouse Preservation Association (WMPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and continued stewardship of the historic Wenger Meetinghouse, a vital landmark of Anabaptist heritage and community history.

Built in the 19th century, the Wenger Meetinghouse stands as a testament to the enduring faith, simplicity, and communal values of the early Mennonite settlers in our region. Our mission is to ensure that this sacred space—and the stories it holds—are protected for future generations.

Founded by a group of local historians, descendants, and preservation advocates, WMPA works to maintain the structural integrity of the meetinghouse, honor its cultural and religious significance, and promote public education about its role in local and religious history.
